Day 16

So the picture today is nothing artistically special but the subjects were just too cute. Brent and I were waiting at the AT&T store for what seemed like hours so we finally sat down on this random bench in the store. We're just talking, not paying much attention to the other people in the store, etc and I see the CUTE little boy come sit down on the opposite end of the bench. Still not really paying much attention, I look over a few minutes later and hes a little closer to Brent. a few sec go by and as i look that direction this kid is literally "slinking" his way closer to Brent. i felt this was too funny not to catch so i decide to get the camera out to nonchalantly document the movement...thats what the photo of the day is.... the best part is....in my last photo the little boy is actually smiling for me in the background! :) awesome!

Day 15

So I had my first softball practice for my work team tonight! very hot, very humid, but very fun to goof off and play softball with Dr's, nurses, PT, etc. Anyway it was too dark to get a pic of practice by the time i got to my camera so i decided instead to show you a pic of the Academy sports and outdoors that is my trunk...... story of my day.....

fun fast and furious weekend

So i spent the weekend traveling up, down, across, the great state of Texas for a whirlwind of a memorial day weekend so i am just now getting back to catching you up...plus if youve been following at all i am usually about a day behind on most posts! :) i never promised the pic of THAT day! .......anyway heres a summary of the weekend......

Day 12
My AMAZING BEAUTIFUL SWEET friend Kate is about to have what is bound to be a stinkin cute baby boy in about 2 weeks. We had to hurry with the baby shower to make sure we didnt miss it too! Heres a shot of Kate, me, and my beautiful pennies (pennies mean i love you....thats they easiest explaination of the gang).


Day 13

We made it to Brent and I's hometown of Henderson late Saturday night and took full advantage of sleeping in the next morning. When we got up the awoke to the fresh smell of barbeque filled the air....that and my mother-in-laws dog barking at squirrels in the yard. :) i just love this picture b/c it shows the feel of the day and Maggies face is just priceless! everyone loves a barbeque!



Day 14- Memorial Day

It was so nice to have a Monday off, not feel just awful, and get to hang out with some of my favorite people......mom, dad, brent, morgan, ben, karen, ...... I started the morning waking up to Morgan asking about lunch (and yes I lied and said i was not still in bed at 10:30 ;)) morgan gave me the COOLEST project-ey type book that i plan on starting ASAP- you may even see a little preview here from time to time. After a breezy lunch at the town hot spot (Cotton Patch) we made our way toward one of my favorite attractions.....Sandras Snowball Stand...if you go through Henderson you must stop and check it out......delish! so my daily pic is just a sweet happy pic of some of my loves.....brent, morgan, puffy clouds and sugary delights...i even got patriotic a bit...ater all if was memorial day! after that we hung out with mom, dad, ben and karen and had a wonderful relazing day.

Day of Rest

Day 11

So voice was still pretty much gone today but i am starting to feel soooo much better! once i can talk again ill be one happy camper. i slept most of the day because i figured that would be the least tempting way to not talk ;) about 3 i decided that i should do at least something productive today....i know i need to rest but i cant sit still for too long. i still havent legally changed my name on my Drivers Liscense of SS card...i figure....i dont have to talk to do those activities so lets go for it. so after a LOONG day of not really saying ANYTHING we were invited to join the girls for dinner at Casa Ole. so to commemorate being around PEOPLE again heres my picture of the day celebrating SOCIAL INTERACTION!

Day 10- at the house

so i have been fighting this cold, virus, allergy....whatever it is for about 3 weeks now. ive gone up and down as far as the feeling good dept but today i just couldnt take it anymore....i nearly lost my voice at work and felt like poo so i came home at lunch and pretty much slept the entire afternoon. voice is still a bit scratchy but i hope if i just keep quiet (easier said than done if you know me) ill be alright tommorrow (crossing fingers). So since i spent most of the day at home i figure the most fitting picture of the day would be of Brent and I's happy little home :)

Day 9

this is the first you will see but soon you will learn..... i like moose! trust me, i have them snuck in the apt everywhere. i think one day for a video we may go on a scavenger hunt to find them all :) any way not much went on today! its been week 3 of feeling crappy so i really didnt do too much today so i thought itd be a good time to introduce my mooses....

Day 8

Brent and I have been trying to avoid this day as long as possible but alas.......today had to be.....HAD TO BE...grocery day. we had chicken tenders and a box of zestas left in the pantry practically  :) i do have to admit though, grocery time with brent typically is more exciting! and with the new project we were looking for the opportunities rather than fixating on the annoying grocery shoppers :) so heres my #8 to commemorate the day.
